Head Case is a ridiculously under-appreciated comedy from the Starz network. Have you heard of it? Probably not. But that is why we are here. National comedy treasure Alexandra Wentworth plays the quirky Dr. Elizabeth Goode, an emotionally unstable Psychologist to the stars. With a long roster of celebrity patients, she approaches her therapy in bizarre ways – but in La La Land, everyone is a little strange. For anyone who has ever been in treatment or just wants a good laugh, Head Case is your show.

Our personal favorite character is Dr. Myron Finkelstein, dr. Goode’s suitemate. Dr. Finkelstein is an old-school Freudian psychiatrist who has a patient list of zero. He tries to poach Dr. Goode’s celebrity patients in the waiting room by telling them that she is not an MD (hint hint) and that he can prescribe the good stuff.

Finkelstein floats through his days and offers therapy to anyone and everyone who crosses his path. He even grabs the lumber liquidator floor installer for an impromptu therapy session and wonders why the entire office is getting new floors but him.
